LLOTH is a Hellenic Black/ Death Metal band founded in 1995 by Tristessa of ASTARTE, that carries on by her husband and later Astarte member Nicolas SIC Maiis on vocals, Setesh on guitars and backing vocals, Vaelor on guitars and Panthimis on bass.

Officially got too impatient for their new album Seventh Secular Crusade to be available here on bandcamp so hoping this album plus the couple new albums (to me) I recently bought will keep distracted enough until I can buy that too. Swedish Melodic Black Metal just has that sound. Glad my Dissection and Sacramentum albums finally have some company.

What an impressive piece of black metal. This one-man hurricane is pure art. Sgah‘gahsowáh creates an haunting atmosphere. He puts so much soul in his music.

The atmosphere of this album is fantastic. Makes you feel like you're knee-deep in the trenches drenched in mud, filth, sweat, and blood. Truly encapsulates the horrors of World War I, and the fact that the lyrics of some of the songs are taken from old war letters really adds to the authenticity. Who doesn't know about Rogga and his phenomenal output of swedeath? It has to be acknowledged that he doesn't put out any bad songs and is capable to hold up the tension. Not only that, je eben manages to increase the intensity of his works.
